Growing up in sunny Queensland, Australia, Kasey has had a passion for travel and adventure instilled in her from a young age. Kasey has visited almost 30 countries and continues to seek adventure wherever possible; she likes to try and visit at least one new country every year! Kasey found her passion when establishing herself in polar sales in 2017 and has since dedicated her career to helping people live out their once-in-a-lifetime dreams.

Kasey’s passion is making sure her clients get all their boxes ticked when looking for an expedition and thrives on knowing she has helped their dreams become a reality. When Kasey is not busy helping her clients get to the Polar regions, she is spending time with her husband and 4 kids, taking them to see as much of this wonderful world and what it has to offer!

Kasey's Top Tips

• Don’t rush into anything, make sure you are ticking most, if not all of your boxes. This is a once in a lifetime trip and should be carefully planned.
• Stick to the small ships (under 200) when travelling to the Polar regions, this will maximise your time off the ship and allow for the best possible landings.

What Do You Recommend Taking With You On A Polar Cruise?

Binoculars are the key to any Polar trip, they are the best for spotting all wildlife (while keeping a safe distance) and also great for identifying the large array of bird species.

Sunscreen is also a largely missed packing item when travelling to the Polar regions, often it is thought that because it's cold, then it’s not needed, however, the sun is very strong in the Arctic and Antarctic and should not be missed off your list!

What Questions Do You Ask To Help Decide Which Is The Right Expedition Cruise?

I really like to understand my client's main purpose for wanting to travel, so I can get a feel for their dreams, this way I know I can offer the best possible trips for them.

I also like to know what they wish to see the most and also what they wish to avoid, this can make or break a perfect trip, so it's always best that myself and my clients are on the same page. I really like to put my feet in my client's shoes!

It's always good to ask what level of comfort they are looking for too, ships do vary with what they offer in regards to comfort and onboard experience.
