Charter Leader: Jamie Watts
The Ultimate Antarctic Expedition Cruise deserves the ultimate Charter Leader. So, we are absolutely delighted to have secured Jamie Watts to lead our group!
Jamie is a world-renowned marine ecologist, and after two years overwintering with the British Antarctic Survey on South Georgia from 2004, he has been full-time on expedition ships across the globe, logging over 370,000 miles and 2850 days at sea, including over 221 expedition voyages.
A published author, he was most recently featured in Ozdiver, Dive Log Australasia, Ocean Geographic, Scuba, Geographical Expedition, Diver, Tauchen, and Sport Diving Australia magazines, as well as various other media outlets, including BBC Wildlife magazine and The Underwater Channel. He has just completed his first book on the marine life of the Antarctic Peninsula and Scotia Sea, which is awaiting publication.
Jamie is a highly accomplished and charismatic charter leader who will coordinate our landings with the expedition team and provide informative briefings each day. Additionally, he will share his passion and knowledge of Antarctica, bringing to life the incredible scenes we are sure to experience.
