On this 10-day voyage, sail to the high Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, one of the best places on the planet to see polar bears in their native habitat. Over the past 50+ years, Lindblad Expeditions' ace spotters have given guests multiple opportunities to experience sightings. In addition to the bears, you’ll be on the lookout for walrus, reindeer, elusive arctic foxes, fur seals and numerous species of birds. The archipelago offers unique hikes, with artful, sculptural arrangements of whale bones on pebbled beaches and the ghostly remains of trapper’s huts.

Day 1: Oslo, Norway
Arrive in Oslo and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Spend the day exploring this vibrant city at your own pace. Check in with the hospitality desk this afternoon to make final arrangements before your charter flight the following day.
Day 2: Embark ship in Longyearbyen
