The Ocean Endeavour is a comfortable, well-appointed expedition ship expertly engineered to explore the polar regions, and is a far cry from the expedition vessels of old. The ship has an ice-strengthened hull (Ice Class 1B), zodiacs for exploration and remote landings, generous deck space and advanced navigation equipment. It offers a superb experience for up to 199 guests (8:1 passenger to expedition staff ratio) with facilities that include a nautical lounge, restaurant, a sundeck and plenty of deck space for observation of the polar landscapes. There is also a mudroom on board to leave your wet weather gear.
The ship’s interiors have a contemporary decor that gives the cabins and common spaces a bright and spacious feel. Passengers can choose from 12 different cabin categories, from standard triple and twin cabins to spacious suites. The ship also has a number of single cabins that are offered without a single supplement on selected cruises.
The Ocean Endeavour is also one of the few polar expedition ships in Antarctica that is focused on health and wellness, with a wealth of new facilities including saunas, a small pool, gym and a hot tub. The ship is designed to offer guests onboard services and amenities that will enhance their polar expedition experience. You will also find a Polar Boutique, where you can buy gifts as well as any gear you might need for your travels.
There is a great range of optional activities available on many of the expeditions on-board the Ocean Endeavour. This includes camping, kayaking, snowshoeing and photography workshop. The ship also boasts enough Zodiac boats for all passengers to be off the ship and experiencing the polar landscapes at the same time. Please note that some activities have an extra charge. The Ocean Endeavour offers a great expedition experience with a great deal of comfort and many onboard facilities.Search all Cruises on Ocean Endeavour
