Named after the famous Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen, this modern expedition ship combines comfort with sustainability. Its advanced hybrid technology helps reduce fuel use and CO₂ emissions by up to 20% compared to similar ships, making it one of the most environmentally friendly vessels in its class.
Onboard, guests can enjoy top-tier facilities, including a heated infinity-edge outdoor pool, the Nansen Science Centre, and a variety of stylish cabins — many with private balconies. With a maximum of 500 passengers, the ship offers a more spacious and relaxed expedition experience while still providing excellent amenities.
Guests can expect daily landing opportunities (weather permitting), allowing them to explore the polar landscapes up close. The expert expedition team enhances the experience with daily lectures, briefings, and wildlife spotting on deck, helping guests connect more deeply with the incredible destinations.
Key features include: private en-suite cabins across 8 categories, an observation lounge and bar, restaurant, lecture room, science and experience centre, heated pool with Jacuzzis, fitness centre, boutique, elevators, a fleet of Zodiac boats for excursions, and a skilled expedition staff.
