The HANSEATIC inspiration is a formidable vessel that has been designed and purpose-built by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises to offer the very best in expedition exploration. They have designed everything to the highest specification, from the expedition equipment, restaurants and public spaces, to the cabins and suites where everything has just the right, perfectly designed place! The ship has more open deck space than any other expedition ship, but if that wasn't enough there is a pull out “glass balcony” that floats over the ocean to provide perfect views when watching whales and dolphins.
The Observation Lounge brings the excitement indoors with its 180-degree panoramic view and comfortable seating where you can just melt away for hours. If you find yourself a little peckish then from breakfast to dinner you will find the HANSEATIC Restaurant open where you can experience a seemingly endless variety of creative cuisine. For something a bit special head to Nikkei where you will be taken on a culinary voyage to discover exquisite Japanese creations and Peru’s modern and fashionable cooking. You will also find buffet-style dining in the Lido Restaurant.
When the time comes to getting off the ship (and you will frequently) the expert expedition team will have the fleet of Zodiac boats ready to transport you to some of the most inspiring places in the world. If that wasn't enough there is also a marina that offers a variety of water sports including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling equipment for you to use (destination dependent).
