Day 1: Start of the Air-Cruise

You will arrive in Punta Arenas, in early in the afternoon and be welcomed by the Expedition staff. The transfer will be provided to your hotel, the staff will provide a briefing with information about the voyage and guidelines for Antarctic travellers. You will then gather for a welcome dinner and enjoy a menu inspired by the region.

Day 2: Scheduled flight to Antarctica

You will embark the airplane for a two-hour flight from Punta Arenas to King George Island, situated in the South Shetland Islands. Once outside the plane, the purity of the air in Antarctica will fill your lungs. Admire the scenic views of snow-capped mountains surrounding the area. Chile’s Frei station and Russia’s Bellingshausen station can also be explored before boarding a Zodiac to embark your expedition vessel.

Day 3-6: Exploring Antarctica

As you navigate along the coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, the ever-changing scenery will reveal spectacular icebergs and pristine wildlife from sea birds, penguins, seals and even whales rising from sea level. You will Zodiac cruise daily and appreciate spectacular views as you navigate an area filled with icebergs and glaciers. On the ship, the staff offers lectures and engaging program of presentations. You will share these moments with your fellow travellers and appreciate time in the lounge.
Each voyage in Antarctica is unique. Based on the weather and ice conditions, the Expedition team will make sure you explore places that offer the best encounter with wildlife and discover Antarctica’s natural beauty from its infinite snow-covered landscapes and mountain ranges to pack of ice splitting from the shores. You will visit many places like Paulet Island, Hope Bay, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Deception Island and the Lemaire Channel.

Day 7: Scheduled return flight from Antarctica

The ship will return to King George Island, you will enjoy the pristine region of Antarctica one last time before heading back to Punta Arenas via airplane. After disembarking, you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice and stay overnight. You can use this time to explore the Chilean city at your own pace.

Day 8: End of the Air-Cruise

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

The ship was built in Chile to the latest Polar Code specifications, a new modern expedition vessel specifically designed for Antarctic air-cruises.
This vessel can carry up to 73 passengers accommodated in seven cabin categories. All cabins feature a wardrobe, individually controlled heating system, a sitting area, a private bathroom with shower. Except for Porthole cabins, they will also feature private balconies.
