50 Years of Victory is purpose-built to navigate to remote destinations through the extreme conditions of the Arctic. The perfect ship for an adventurous journey with great facilities and amenities. It is the largest and most modern nuclear-powered icebreaker in the world. The spoon-shaped bow of the ship is designed for greater icebreaking ability and makes the ship capable to force its way through 2.5 meters thick ice fields.
Experience helicopter tours for exciting views and land in Franz Joseph Land when conditions do not allow landing with Zodiacs. The vast and ever-changing icescape in the Arctic Ocean offers a unique chance for photographers to immortalize the journey with photos and videos. Once at the top of the world, a ceremony is organized to celebrate this fantastic moment when adventurers stand at the North Pole where only a few have set foot and, if conditions allow it, people can take a plunge into the icy water.
