When Do You Want To Go?
In light of the current situation around coronavirus (COVID-19), Many of the operators that Polar Routes work with have introduced a number of flexible booking measures, so you can relax and book with the reassurance that if the circumstances change, you'll have options to change your plans.
Each operator has their own policy and we have listed a number of them below, however, when you place an enquiry with us, your Travel Specialist will advise you on the information specific to the cruises you are considering. Then you can make your decision based on what works for you.
In addition, on all new bookings made between the 13th March 2020 until the 31st July 2020, Polar Routes will waive their amendment and cancellations fees, so you can relax and book with confidence
For a limited time, cruises departing before 31 Dec 2020 can be cancelled and rebooked up to 14 days prior to departure and those departing between Jan 2021 and 30 June 2021 can be cancelled and rebooked up to 30 days prior to departure. Terms and conditions apply.
Book one of our Expedition Cruises in 2021-22, and we will ask for just a 5% non-refundable deposit to be paid when booking. The remaining non-refundable deposit in line with our Terms & Conditions (totalling 20%) will be due by 30 September 2020.
Ponant’s Worry-Free Booking policy is in effect from 9th March 2020: For any new booking, in case of cancellation, your deposit is refundable up to 90 days after confirmation, less £200 per person. You can also transfer your deposit to another cruise or take a credit note without charge.
For all new bookings to the Arctic 2021 and Antarctica 2020/21, you can hold a cabin free of charge up for up to 2 months. If you are happy to go ahead then the deposit has been lowered to just 10%, with the balance paid 90 days prior to departure.
For any new bookings to Antarctica from November 2020 - March 2021 then you can cancel your voyage up to 48 hours prior to departure for any reason and rebook with 100% Future Travel Refund Credit for deposits or other partial payments at time of cancellation, or 120% Future Travel Refund Credit where full payment at the time of cancellation has been received. Future cruise credit will be valid for 24 months from point of cancellation.
For any new bookings from April 2021 onwards, standard booking conditions apply but the deposit has been lowered from 20% to 10%.
For cruises due to depart before the 31st October 2020, if you decide to cancel your cruise for any reason, you will receive a voucher for the value of your payments which can be used towards any future Seabourn cruise. You must submit your cancellation request before 30 days prior to sailing (48 hours prior to sailing for departure up to 31st July 2020)
For all booked guests as well as new reservations on new cruises sailing between June 1st and December 31st, 2020 they will be allowed to cancel any time until 30 days prior to departure just paying a small administrative fee.
We will add more as we receive them.
